Lanham EDI - Virtual Fields

I have a TP that we are doing drop ship; there will be many orders none will use the same ship-to name or address. I have mapped the 850 to pick up the ship-to information, but we will only use on 1 ship-to code to keep from putting useless records in the ship-to address table. Problem is the ASN is picking up the address from the BOL (which of course is a different address), I then decided to use an EDI In field for these elements, but they are not picking them up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated [-o<

Why don't you just use the Sales Shipment Header shipping information instead of the BOL ship-to?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I did have it mapped there originally, but when I exported the ASN the information was not populated.0

The sales shipment header should be loaded. And the bill of lading address should the ship-to address where the product is going to.
Are you loading the TP's ship-to address on a virtual field as your title suggests?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

The Sales Shipment Header is loaded and also I have the TP's ship-to address going to the virtual fields:
Ex - EDIIN - Ship-to Name (I_SLSORD)0 -

Why not just load them into regular sales header field?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I have them going there as well I used conditional mapping. Problem is I am only using one Ship-to code and that is why the bill of lading is not reflecting the actual ship-to address.0

It doesn't matter. You should still map the ship-to address information to the sales header fields if drop-ships are involved.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I have done that...still not populating. Is it because I am looking to place what the Navision ASN considers information in the Order Hierarchy in the Shipment Hierarchy? I am reaching but I am grasping at straws at this point.0

Hmm... It's gotta be somewhere on the setup. You may want to consider asking your MS partner to check your setup.
Does the sales shipment header have the drop ship address?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
