Job Queue process only running once

Hi everyone

I finally have my the NAS running for Nav 5 Sp1 which I though would have been the difficult part but thanks to the How to do section within Mibuso it went very well.. Thank you

However I am having problems with the job queue now. I want to set up a job to run a report with the job queue every hour.

Earliest Start Date as today at 08:00:00
Recurrence
Starting time is 08:00
Ending time is 19:00
no. of minutes between is 60

I Activiate the job and the job runs but only once the Earliest Start Date changes to next time but the job does not run again.

Am I doing something wrong..the job only ever runs once when i activiate the job

Is NAS session still connected to the server? Are there any messages in transaction log? Change the recurrance to 5 min, does it make a difference? And you have checked the recurring job flag on the card?

I checked the Service was running .. all seems fine..

I have setup and re setup the jobs and now the job queue seems to be working ok!

I change the job to run every 10 minutes and it worked (I dont know what i did differently )..

I have gradually change the interval from 10minutes to 40minutes and still ok

Now I'm waiting to see if it will work for 60 minutes.

Weird but if it does work I will be happy.. until the next time!

Really weird... The job queue only seems to work when i have that session open..

is this the way it works!

You have to keep a session open on the server??

which session? Job queue is run by NAS which is installed as service. with start pup parameter. JOBQUEUE.

NAS maintains an open connection to the server.
