Item Translations and Codepages

RobertMoRobertMo Member Posts: 484
A customer runs 3.60 on SQL with Slovenian collation which is based on codepage 1250. They want to print invoices for Russian customers with some texts in Russian (cyrillics) which is based on Codepage 1251.
I would like to use Item Translations, but I cannot print chars from CP1251.
(I have managed to enter them directly in SQL)
And I have even tried to change the collation for the specific field - that is Description in Item Translations table and/or using font "Arial Unicode MS".
Nothing helped.

Any ideas ?

Because Navision is not Unicode application, is affected with settings in OS Windows in Local settings (last page tab) "Settings for NON-unicode applications". If you want to see russian characters I think that you must switch it to russia. But problem is that you must have administrator right and restart you PC.

On Microsoft WWW site is some utility to switch this per application but for Navision it is not working...
