Duplicate logins to Navision

We have just implemented Navision 3.7 and our problem is people running multiple instances of Navision. We migrated from an old AS/400 package where it was fine for people to be running multiple emulation sessions in windows and because the product was licensed by concurrent users, it was never a problem. Now it is because whenever a person is logged in, they are registered as a user. If they log on again in a second session, now they take up 2 slots, and we are needlessly running out of licenses. Has anybody had a similar problem? Any ideas of how to handle this? It seems that it would not be a difficult mod to check when logging in to see if the same user is already logged on, but I don't know if this would be possible.

I think everyone has had an issue with this in the beginning. There are a few solutions. Some are for Native Navision Database & others are for SQL Database

Which one are you using?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. we are using the native Navision data base.
