Entry Type:: Rounding in Table 5802 ??

Hi All,

can any one tell me , when the 'Entry Type'::Rounding will hit to the Value Entry Table. I mean , Till now I have seen only with 'entry Type'::Direct Cost.


Please clarify me , why the 'Entry Type'::Rounding will hit to the value Entry table..

    Online help says :
    Rounding: Residuals caused by the valuation of inventory decreases.

    For this create New item u can see very clearly.

    Create Purchase order for an Item A . with qty = 3 Unit cost = 50.Total amount = 150.
    U got 50 /- Invoice discount . So Acutal cost = 100. Post the Purchase order.

    Later u sold 3 pieces to different customers with different dates with different Unit prices..
    Now check the Value entries
    .system will create a rounding with 0.01.
