Hi All

I am an ERP developer and has been working on Everest erp since last 2-3 years. I have worked on xml based webservices and integrations. I am very clear about general ERP processes and Concepts / flows.

I am new to Navision and I am just wondering whether it worth going for training for passing certification and learning Navision or will it be ok if i just read the self study exam material etc.

I want to achieve the following
1- Getting certified
2- Learn Dynamics both finance and development part of it (especially webservices etc in nav 6)

Your suggestions are welcome on this. Please say it freely.

Thank you.
KS

If your employer is willing to send you to training, go to the training. If that is not the case, I would say get the training material and study it. Take a certification test. If you fail the test, or if you feel like you need more than you get out of the book then try again to take the training.

By the way, it's not 'nav 6', it is NAV 2009. If you're going to use a number, use the right one.
