NAV locked for programming no matter what license

Has anybody heard of a method to lock NAV for programming no matter what license you may have?

What do you mean. Lock it ...like making all the code unaccessible?

No Matter What? why would you do such a thing? what is something needs to changed in the future?

Not allowing for any code changes on the platform itself, you can only make changes by importing a FOB.

You can achieve this by using addons which allow you to remove code from compiled objects. This leaves object operational, however they cannot be edited/saved. However, I see more disadvantages of using such tools than advantages...

Just search for Designer Powerful Tools and you will find one of these addons.

I agree, do it with permissions. There are System permissions for File --> Import as well as Design. You basically just don't want anyone designing anything, sounds like.
