Hi everybody!
I have a problem with a Nav5.0. I can't change the language from english to spanish. I install the client, but when i access to nav with a super-user rol user I can do it, but with another user (not super) I can't do it. The user is created in the Active Directory and SQL-Server in the same configuration as the rest of user that they can change language.
The Operating system they have, is a Windows XP.
Some ideas?
Thanks a lot

It seems like you have installed wrong language version of the client. Check that the ESP subfolder exists in the Client folder.0
-
Thank you, but the folder is there. Any other suggestion?0
-
1) Check that the subfolder have same permissions as ENU folder
2) Check that the user is not using different license
3) Check that the user have system rights
4) Check virtual table "2000000045" and look for values in fields "STX File Exist", "ETX File Exist" and other values for the language you want.0 -
Question about table 2000000045:
The following record seems wrong to me:
Language ID Primary Language ID Name Abbreviated Name
1033 1033 English (United States) NLD
I can't change the menu bar from Dutch to English.
Has this something to do with this record?0 -
It can be... it is ENU by default. If there is something else, it is weird....0
-
Yes, it is weird.
Any idea how to change this?
Table 2000000045 is read only.
I re-installed NAV.
Had a look at my Regional and Language settings, but can't find anything strange.0 -
Which Windows you are using? Which language, regional settings etc...0
-
Windows XP SP2
english language
Regional settings language
English (United States) =default
Dutch (Netherlands)0 -
Hmmm... it seems like case for Service Incident with Microsoft...
I do not know, how the table is generated by the NAV, it means, I do not know what else can be the source of this...

Don't know what the problem was.
But after removing and adding languages (Windows, Regional and Language Setting), the problem was solved. Couldn't find what was the exact problem.
Thanx for helping anyway.0 -
I had the same problem, deleted "documents & settings" user folder (backup all documents first), and logged on again.
