I get the follow error when I try to run a report to export in excel:
/******
Could not create an instance of the OLE control or Automation server by
GUID={00020813-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
1.5:{00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}:Unknown Automation Server. Unknown class. Check that the OLE control or Automation server is correctly installed and registered.

Anybody can help me
Navision is runing in a Citrix server without Excel installed, the client has Excel, but I can't to install Excel in the server; Exists one way to run a Excel report in the client?, I can't to use a Dataport because I need to make the user design and show some calculated amounts.
thanx

sorry, if only on the client is Excel and not under citrix and NAV is under citrix you can't use the Excel Export (with automations).
But you can create text files and open this textfiles with excelDo you make it right, it works too!0 -

Still trying to create excel file?
Why not CSV file and it is ascii based file that excel can open it and format it!
Or you need to install excel on your Citrix server!0 -
How can I create a CVS file?, Can I create a similar process like a Excel Automation?, or why can I do this?0

Hi,
You can use a dataport or using the commands: file.open, file.write, file.close (have a look in the help).0 -
