Change costing method - Bug in function VALIDATE C.M. ???

Hello,

I've seen in several postings that to change the costing method for an item with Item Ledger entries you must comment out the line TestNoEntriesExist. I wonder if the problem is that instead of the call to TestNoEntriesExist there should be a call to TestNoOpenEntriesExist. Do you think this might be the problem or is it correct the call to TestNoEntriesExist ? Thanks a lot.

    The error message is there for a reason you shouldn't just comment out the line if you're not absolutly sure about what you're doing.
    Then you can mess up inventory valuation etc.

    I'm sorry if I haven't explained myself very well in my previous message. I'm NOT commenting out anything, I just was referring to the solution done in several posts before (you only have to search for this topic in this forum). I was just asking if changing TestNoentriesExist to TestNoOpenEntriesExist could cause any problems. I'm sorry if the message wasn't clear enough. Thanks a lot.
