Role Citrix and Terminal Server in NAV 2009, Performance?

hi ALL all experience people
as we now moving to 3 tier arch.
we are still using NAV classic client for developing objects and administrator.
where all users will logon via RTC client (ie.smart client, Via windows logon Authecation and need to be within the LAN).
My Question, last time we use to use Citrix or terminal for nav 4.0 or nav 5.0 for remote connections and we need to have a good bandwith for this.
now, if all clients uses RTC client with of speed 512 kbps let say concurrent 40 users, how much bandwith is required?
and if i install RTC in critix or TS? wht will be happen?
can it be done, is it recommended, or what is the best method to do it.
