Interfaces on Navision ?

Hey Experts,

I need to build an interface on top of Navision to communicate with other ERP applications. At the moment I don't have much experience with Navision so I don't know what is possible.

The intention is to use a Web Service (.NET) to communicate with other applications like for example Axapta.

What is the best way to do this and what is possible ?

I 've tried to use the XML Port object and this works fine but then you need to have an extra application that sends the data to the Web Service.

Is there another possibility to do this ?

    Hi Gette,

    Depending on what you want to send to the other ERP system there are a few different ways to handle this.

    I would suggest you look at Commerece gateway as this pretty much handles the sending of information form one system to another, and handles any mapping etc that needs to be done between the 2 systems. It will also handle the transport method between the 2 systems.
