Opening Blob Excel file

Hi all,
I have stored a excel file as BLOB.
How can I open excel BLOB file.

Any suggestions , hints are welcome.

You need to export it into file and open the file...

You mean to say I have to use Excel buffer table for this? or is there any other method also?

What I think kine was saying is to export the file inside blob, then you can open it with SHELL command. For some tips and tricks on using SHELL you can use this one http://www.mibuso.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12417

Exactly, you need to save the blob back as file and open it as a file. (EXPORT function of the BLOB field).

Can we open the file directly without exporting it to HDD?
If yes then specify how.

no. because you can't send a stream from toe BLOB directly to the Workbook (as i know).
