Hi ,
I created a transfer order for quantity 100. It has Lot tracking.
So I gone to item tracking lines and assign Lot for the quantiy 50. Lot Number = ABC/01
Then I try post system trhow s some errors regarding lot has to assign for remaining quantity.
So again I gone to Item tacking lines and I assigned the Lot.here Lot number is = PNF/05
Now I try to post . Still system throws the same error.
Again I gone through the Item tracking here I found on e thing that is there is no second Line.
Again I gone to table Reservation.
Here I need to delete the First one Lot number = ABC .01.
Again I come back to transfer order and and assign Item tracking lines for total quantity simultaneously.
Here the problem is if u forget to assign the Lot number for total quantiy.
U need to go to Table delete that entry
Why it is not taking that second entry .
Please share your experience.

So you are shipping 100 and defining lot numbers for 50. How many were in the Quantity to Ship - 100? So the error message (which you have not told us and makes it difficult to help) would have said you have not defined the appropriate lot numbers or something. So either set the quantity to ship correctly or define another 50 lot numbers.
Also when are you going to learn? If you go into systme tables and start deleting entries you are going to makes things worse and cause endless issues for yourself and make it impossible to help you.
Learn how the product works and figure out what error messages mean, understand the processes and stop trying to solve the issue by opening tables and deleting entries you do not like! The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0 -
I created transfer order . qty = 100
I go to Item tracking lines I assigned Lot no : RM019/003 for qty = 50
So still I need to assign item tracking for 50
So I forget and I try to post then system throw this message.
Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision
Qty. to Handle (Base) must be -50 in Tracking Specification Entry No.='1'.
OK
Then again I go to Item tracking lines assign the Next lot number is : RM019/004 for Qty = = 50
Then I try to post again I am getting same above error.
sO I gone to table I delete the fiorst entry.
Then I go to Item tacking lines in transfer order now I assign for total qty.
Now I can post.

Why if you load 100 and define 50 do you have 74.5 remaining.
Try loading one for 100 and defining 100.
Quantity to handle is now -613.5 what the hell are you doing?
I suggest you delete this transfer order and start again, start simple, understand the process and move onwards. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0 -
I am really sorry sir ,

This is just the way you are entering it. You can go back in and add a new line. You need to look at the figures at the top and check teh remaining amount is zero. Not sure what you are doing from the description, sounds like you are deleting the original 50 with the second 50 leacing 50 outstanding. This does work, it is just the way you are doing. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0

Thanks Mr. steven
You can go back in and add a new line.
First I am not going direct ly to table , I tried many times to assign the second line , But automatically it was disappear even I assigned.
You need to look at the figures at the top and check teh remaining amount is zero.
When I assigned the second line that field will be zero , But whe I try to post again that field getting the same value what I forget to assign .

Y I am deleteing because it is not taking automatically second line . when I go to table I delete first line . Then I come back to transfer order and assign the item tracking again for full quantity.
Now I can post .
I don’t it is not taking the second line when I try to assgin second time .reema0 -
The issue is how you are doing it, nothing much else I can say.
In item tracking your first line is for the first lot of 50
The second line is then for 50.
No idea why it disappears this must be something you are doing.
Issue with the error message is probably due to you deleting entries from a table - did you delete every entry from every table? No of course not so you are going to have problems. You are creating your own problem by deleting table entries and not understanding how the standard system works
Go back create a new order, add a line, define two lot numbers. This will work, if you had 10 and they are serialised you have 10 lines, so they do not "disappear" unless of course you have modified it to do this. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0 -
Thanks Adam,
If i assign the Item tracking for full quantity the system goes smooth.
But the problem only comes if i forget to assign the item tracking for full qty .
Then it is not taking for second time.
Even I assign it is vanishingreema0 -
I cannot replicate this on my version, lines do not disappear.
If you can replicate this on your version of Cronus report it to Microsoft as it will be a bug. The other alternative is it is a modification affecting this. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0 -
Thanks steven,
How to inform to Microsoft about this problem.
What is the Email address of Indian Microsoft.
How to know that maiL ID.
Plese throw some information on this.
Thanks and regardsreema0 -
