Inventory data Import to item journel line

Hi
I am trying to import inventory data into item journal line table. I have prepared CSV file for data for the following fields

Journal template name, Journal batch name, Line no., item no., Entry type, document no., Location code, Quantity.

I have created the data port and mapped the above fields. After import i couldnt see the records in item journal screen.

Do i miss any mandatory field?

Pls suggest me.

    Namaste!

    You should increment Line no. by 10000.
    which template name r u using?

    Also, I think you have missed the unit cost. If you upload
    inventory on zero cost, then you will not get inventory valuation.

    Hi,

    For testing i have taken only one item. i have given "line no" as 10000 for that one item. I have tried with unit cost also. I couldn't see the new record in item journal form. I am using "ITEM" template.

    pls suggest me.

    Please post if you have dataport object and sample excel file.

    How you are running the dataport? Run it from object designer, not from designer itself...
