We created a interface to export an XML file on Navision 5.0 W1.
But the simplified Chinese characters were shown garbled, when I opened this file using IE.
How can I correct it?

Why nobody answer me? Is my question not clear enough?
It is very urgent. Please help me.0 -
Well it is a weekend, so most people are enjoying their time off. Us poor folks that are working this weekend all want to help you, but don't know how. As soon as anybody that knows the answer reads your post, they will reply to your question. This is a volunteer community though, so you can't expect an answer right away. If you MUST have an answer RIGHT NOW then you need to get help from your NAV partner or from Microsoft.0

The translation to UTF8 or UTF16 is done at the exe level. Did you try both?
You would need to contact MS and they would need to make sure double byte characters are converted correctly to UTF-16.0 -
Thanks a lot, guys.
We had done it.
Our technical guy didn't use the xml exported, but got records from table then wrote into xml file directly.0
