Hi I have a question regarding the database size. Though I read the user menu, I am not sure how to do it. We are using the database server. I cannot find any EXPAND from the File Menu and why? Now the data size has exceeded almost 60%. Has anyone done it before? Any details? Thanks!

Everyone is using database server... ;-) Are you using NAV database server or MS SQL db server? I assume NAV DB server... 8)
Than see File - Database - Expand...
if you are using MS SQL option, see File - Database - Alter - DB Files or you can expand the files through MS SQL Management studio or Enterprise Manager...0 -
If you are using Native Database Server (not SQL) and you will expand the database size, go to File -> database -> Expand.
If you have more then one database file expand all database files to the same.
If you use sql Server you can expand the size when using the File -> Database -> Alter window (or SQL Manag. studio).
It is better here to set a exand factor in MB and not in %
RegardsDo you make it right, it works too!0
