VAT Entry Tables Vs Tax Entry Table

Hi

We are using NAV 5.0. We find that (for India localization) the Tax entries are getting posted in Tax Entry table rather than the VAT entry table. I understand that this is not the case in NAV 4.0 SP3. It was hitting on the VAT entry table.

Please clarify

The VAT Entry table caption has been changed to Tax Entry table for some localizations. The VAT Entry table and the Tax Entry table are the same table.

Indian scenarion differs. I have told that several times in the forum.
MS India has left the Global VAT as it is in the Indian Database and created a new granule "Sales Tax" which includes all Indian Taxation features. Tax Entry is created for all entries using Sales Tax module whereas Vat entry table is used when posting is done using Vat bussiness & product posting group.
