If I have an option field setup as A,B,C when I display the field in a report I get 1 or 2 or 3.
What do I need to do the get it 'translated' using the option string?

Do you display it in this way: "Table"."field"::"Option" ?
This way NAV shows it as an integer.
To avoid it, you should do as follows:
Put somewhere C/AL code that assigns the option
"Table"."Field" := "Table"."Field"::"Option"
and then use "Table"."Field" in the field.Regards,Alain Krikilion

I would suggest to use FORMAT(Field), e.g. in the source expression of the text box control. Should work, shouldn't it?
