PO Short closing

Is there anyway to Short close a PO. Vendor is being placed a PO for 100 Qty and already supplied 75 QTY.

Due to some reason, not able to supply balance 25 Qty. SO i cannot keep the PO Open and need to short close it.

I dont see any option in NAV. Please help me out

    You need to reopen the Purchase Order and change the "qty." equal to quantity received.

    You can automate the process but it will be cutsomization.

    In other words if you
    Order Qty=100 & Receive Qty=75 and the remaining 25 are not coming
    you would go back into the order and change Order Qty to 75. Now you can close it without issue.

    Some companies would like to know/save that this item was shipped short and the original Qty was 100.

    Creating a field called Qty. Ordered that would save that orig value would be a mod.
