I have just read about the new TS RemoteApp-service (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... 53844.aspx) in Windows Server 2008 and wondered if any of you guys and girls have any knowledge about how NAV 501 will perform in a RemoteApp-session compared to the good old TS?

The difference is that instead of displaying the whole desktop, you are only viewing the app. So yes there is less data that is transmitted, and less memory is used per user.
You have to test things like, if NAV starts excel, that excel is shared as well.0 -

That's already a problem running an app. directly form Citrix, so I would think you are right that its also going to be an issue here also. It does look though like Citrix is almost redundant now though doesn't it.
I think that as NAV integrates more and more with other apps, you really do need a desktop.David Singleton0
