What is the major diff. b/w commerce portal & user porta

In a sales point of view or technical point of view.What is the major differance between the commerce portal & the user portal.?

Specifically in what all functionalities these both differ?

If anybody know in this regard, do mail me ,it will be a great help.

    Commerce portal is the Webshop for Navision. your customers can order things online and view information regarding their account. User Portal is the web interface for your own internal Navision users.

    Is it possible in user portal to update the web interface or only we can view the informations.

    can we give the user portal to our customer to access ,,then wat will be the differance of commerce portal and user portal.Any specific functionality is presnt in both.Pls tell me.

    One of the main difference:

    Into commerce portal have users own login informations created for each customer or contact...

    Into User portal you are logged throgh Navision users (windows security or database logins).

    In CP you can order Items, make some other things (auctions etc.)

    In UP have users possibility to make orders, post them, post invoices, look at invoices etc. as if they are using Navision client (but not all as in client),
