confusion with keys

Hello everybody.....

I am filter cust. ledger entry on two fields i.e. document type and customer no.

But the Setcurrent key which i am using that is :-
Document No.,Document Type,Customer No.


Applying this key will reduce the time or has no effect...because first filed is document no..in key..but this is not in filter??

    Hi kgsinha,

    Using [Document No.,Document Type,Customer No.] key compared to the default one [Entry No.] is better. It will improve the performance for your above filters, if the order is
    1) filter on Document Type then
    2) filter on Customer No.

    Is this Native DB or SQL?
