Item Adjustment

I have a dataport for item adjustment to which I am supplying cost totals for qty involved.
On the negative adjustments where the location has items in stock it accepts the Value from the dataport but on positive adjustments where there was no stock it overrides the value supplied with value from sku.
How can I prevent this from happening without having to edit all entries again in the form.
Also another question is on Create SKU function why does it pick the latest cost and how can I get it to pick the average cost.

On your first question, when you import the positive adjustment, put in the code:
VALIDATE("Unit Amount",YourValue)
This will allow the positive adjust to be whatever cost you choose.
On your second question, it uses the Unit Cost, which is your Average cost. Make sure you run Adjust Cost process first.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
