Demand Planner synchronization w/ Navision

After configuring DP I synchronize the bases (Menu: Synchronization --> Import/Export --> Synchronize DP).

The following error message pops up:
The synchronization failed. Details: The statement has been terminated. Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'CATIGORIES' with unique index 'XAK1CATEGORIES'

help me out, pls

    Try recreating the DP database since it might be corrupted (partially synched) and then synch again.

    It seems like there must be someting else. I reinstalled and recreated everything I could possibly reinstall or recreate :? (except for SQL server).

    I get the same error even if I simply follow the instructions of "installation demo guide for DP" that was downloaded off microsoft.com

    any ideas, pls.
