Using NAS with Dataport

Hello,
i know that the use of NAS is impossible with DATAPORT, but there is a way to use the NAS with them?

You cannot use C/AL variables of type DATAPORT when running the NAS.
Or is this changed in 5.x :?:Do you make it right, it works too!0 -

I'm not sure if you have any control or influence on the format of the data that is being sent to Navision but another option in place of a Dataport would be to use XML ports.
I've used this successfullly many times in the past and it works even better now that error handling is available in Navision 5.0. It may even be possible to use an XSLT transform to change the text data into XML that is consumable by an XML Port in Navision.0 -

I meant if you don't have control of the data before it gets to Nav you can use an XSLT Transfrom.0
