Default Dimension

Hi!!

I was wondering if it's possible to configurate default dimensions somehow so that when users write the value of one dimension (let's say Global Dimension 1), the rest of the dimensions are filled by the sistem.

for example:
A user is creating a journal line. On the JL the user writes the value AAA for Global Dimension 1. The system should write Global Dimension 2 = BBB and Shortcut Dimension 3 = CCC.

Is it possible with the standard functionallity? I'm using NAV5.0

    I don't think Standard Navision can do so. You may need customization on this.

    why do you need 3 dimensions then if two of them are completely defined by a 3rd one ? Use a single dimension then :)

    I can't just use one dimension, because not always 2on and 3rd dimension are defined by the first one, but most of the times.
    Also because it's a multicompany enviroment and some dimensions are used for consolidation purposes.

    I already started to develop.
