Due date calculation in requisition planning.

Hi
How due date is calculated while we are running requisition planning in navision.

    It is calculated based upon when you need the items.

    Thats fine, but when I do the calculate requirement it is giving due date of last 5 ~ 6 month back date, how is it possible.
    e.g. if we run on today date then for some items it will give due date 10/07/07, 25/10/07 etc.

    Because you sold something you never had and it is sitting at negative stock so the system has to adjust "when" it is due is just one explanation - depends upon what the demand profile looks like - what is causing the suggestion?
