From your postings recently your opinion may alter with the attendance of some of the basic training courses. These forums are not a learning tool, they support people, but you have to put some effort in I am afraid. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0

All of us specialists did some ](*,) in the beginning, but we didn't give up (or we were just plain stubborn), put a lot of effort in it and now we are specialists.
A saying to consider: No pain, no gain.Regards,Alain Krikilion

This really applies to all aspects of life, not just NAV. If you get stuck in ](*,) then you probably won't get very far in anything else...Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
AP Commerce, Inc. = where I work
Getting Started with Dynamics NAV 2013 Application Development = my book
Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV - 3rd Edition = my 2nd book0 -
after 8 years Nav we all have ](*,) feelings from time to time, also that is an aspect of life.
Don't be so hard for the newbies guys! If I see what has changed in this 8 years, Nav has become more complex and therefor less accessible for the newbies.
Training indeed is a good advise.0 -

One of my users here said that as well (regarding Nav)
and I gave her a message in Nav :
You don't have the permission to give up. Please contact your administrator.
Does anyone remember that functionality where you could give a user Logon message in Navision? I believe it was on a 2.60 or even earlier, but can't remember if it was standard or custom built...0 -
a user logon message like "Hello Mr. XYZ. It's monday and you're welcome" :?: I think it was customized ;-)Do you make it right, it works too!0
