Strange licence behaviour

Hi,

Our client has a licence for 4 concurent sessions (+1 for NAS).
We uploaded the licence on the server using Upload button on licence informations window.
Clients are installed with minimum configuration.
There is default cronus.flf in program files\micros...\client folder.

There are 15 users on the server with public server role plus one user with sysadmin server role (named "superuser").

Four users are logged on to navision.

Then, when I try to open navision using superuser I get the error about session limit, but if I try to log on as ordinary user it opens 5th session without any errors, 6th also... Sometimes there are 10 concurent users logged on.

How the heck can there be more than 4 sessions running if the licence is for 4 sessions only.

We are using NAV 4 SP2 on SQL Server 2005 SP2.

Please help!


P.S. Can CRONUS.FLF in client folder be the problem?

    Known problem of SP2 with SQL 2005. Upgrade to SP3 or enable trace flag 4616. Search this forum for more info about the trace flag 4616 and how to enable it.
