Maybe my question was not clear.

Can you work with the Outlook integration (synchronize) when you have installed Microsoft Dyanmics NAV 5.0 on a Stand-alone-pc.

The workstation has OS: XP and does not belong to a domain.

Or must the users always be a member of a domain and if yes, is there a work around when you have only a stand-alone installation on OS XP.

Why you just don't give it a try and ask more specific question when you run into troubles ?

I 've already gave it a try but, I had to make a domain-user and the domain had to be active.

So with my practice it did not work, but I thought maybe I was wrong...

Could it be that this 'standard' solution only works for domain-users and what for customers who have only ONE workstation with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and do not have a domain but want to use this feature...

So is it possible or not?

Instead of using domain user you may try to type
    COMPUTERNAME\username
This works for me in every case when I need to specify somewhere a domain account but I don't want to or I don't have any domain just standalone or workgroup installation. Browsing for user accounts doesn't work in such a cases, but typing the complete name as in quote above does.
