Anybody who knows which programming language will be used in 4.0 ?

Exactly the same as in previous versions....
There are more tools, more possibilities but the language is the same : C/AL
In the object Designer for instance, you can as previously go in tables, forms, reports, dataports and codeunits but also in XMLPorts and MenuDesigner.
You'll not have to learn a new language, don't worry.... and most of the objects are the same as in ver. 3.70My candle burns by both ends, it will not last the night,
But oh my foes and oh my friends, it gives a lovely light0 -
except menu forms (F330...) are missing...®obi

what a shame this site does not have a search facility. :roll:0

What do you mean there is no search facility on this site?
You can search the forum, search the downloads, search the business directory, search the product directory, search the how to's ...
You must be joking, right? No support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0 -
Luc, I think he is hinting to use the search before asking

Thank you all, who replied!0

Luc, YES i was joking! :P
this is one of the best run sites I have been to.
good content, well managed, good features.
I just get frustrated when the forums get filled with questions that could be answered by a little searching. :x
IMHO A good developer is not lazy and does not abuse developer community resources by asking questions that can easily be answered by a little research.
BTW matteo scalera, my comment is not about you, your question is one that could be answered by a search ONLY if you knew what to ask for. There have been a number of mails recently like "where can I download a file to..." and the answer was the downloads page DUH!0 -

Savatage,
I've been looking for that training manual also. Let me know if you find it.0
