            Purchases & Payables->Periodic Activities->Recurring Journals
 You can set the:
Recurring Method: Fixed or Variable (does the amt change or remain the same)
Recurring Frequency: monthly (1M) weekly (7D) ETC ETC
 Posting Date (Self Explanitory)
 Doc Type; (Usually Invoice)
 Account type: (Usually Vendor)
 Amount: etc etc
at the bottom you should have a "LINE" button
where you can setup the Allocations for that line.
You can set up 1 or many g/l accounts to hit.
 etc etc etc.0

Rucurring Invoices are like RENT or ELECTRIC BILL or CAR PAYMENT..things like that that happen on a recurring basis. In Nav you can
 1)setup this recurring bill
2)setup if its Variable (changing) or a fixed (same) amount
3)what g/l accounts it should go to.
4)set the dates that it recurs such as Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, Etc.
Once it's all set up all you have to do is post. It simply saves time from reentering a bill over and over and over again for months & years.
 the reason you can't find
Purchases & Payables->Periodic Activities->Recurring Journals was the pre 4.0 days when Menu's ruled the land.
If you search help for "Recurring Journal" you should find info.
I don't have 4.0 setup here but I'm sure with some clicking around you should be able to find the setup.0
