We are getting a licensing error when trying to use this with 3.60.

Is there a license that we need to apply?

The User Rights Setup objects are in the following range:
    Forms 70000 .. 70008
    Reports 70000 .. 70004
    Codeunit 70000

You'll need this range applied in your license file. Check your Microsoft Business Solutions Partner to update your license.

Alternatively, you can try to renumber these objects in a range that is valid for your license.

    Hi,
i'm using the User Rights Setup tool to define permissions for users, but i'm having a problem with that.
In Permissions the data collected from Client Monitor only contain objects of type "Table Data", nothing about Forms, that is what i need most.
Can anyone tell me why is this happen?!

    Best Regards,
    Pedro

    kine,

Are you willing to share that solution with us?
And can we assign permission for more than 1 company at the same time (without changing company)?

    Hi all
I have implemented this fine little tool into my navision.

Something I am confused about is the "User main menu" in the User Rights Setup. I have added an extra field in my User setup (so that I could compile). What is this supposed to do, extra setup to customize menu's?

Is there any way that you could customize the menu to so that there are different menu setups for each login?

    Thanks

Yes, users can change their menu, they can hide groups, items etc. and the show the hidden one (of course, just which they have in the license and in permissions...)

    Hehe How?

I must confess I dont know how to change a user menu. I am guessing it refers to the menu suite in some form.

Could you guide me a bit to how to make menu changes. My situation is that I have to differtiate between the users setup.
IE some can use finance or sale and some can use warehouse. First thought was using permissions to control it.
Changing the menus so that they can only see what I allow them to see would be the most preferable solution ofcourse.

Any ideas to how to create such a solution would be much appriciated.

    Sincerly

You can open the Navigation Pane Designer (menu Tool - Navigation Pane Designer) and after that, by opening context menu for the group you can assign the group to users. In the group, you can add items through "Add Items", you can create new group etc....

In user right setup form there is a field called "User main menu field"
What is the use of this field?
It shows me error "Referance to the member "main menu ID" clold not be solved". If I compile that form it shows me error "U define unknown veriable "Main menu ID".

It is incorrectly upgraded form. This field was removed in version 4.0 because has no meaning now. You need to remove the field from the form.

What do you mean with that? If you mean the objects for setting user permission, no, I do not know about any update for them (but it doesn't mean that the update doesn't exists).
