Installation of MBS-Navision DB Server on MS Win Server 03

Hi All,

I am trying to install MBS Navision Database Server from Navision 4.0 SP1 on a Microsoft Server 2003 SP2 server. The MBS Navision Database Server Service has successfully started.

But when I am trying to connect by entering the server name, I am getting this message "The following message came from the server". Then, when I click OK, I am getting another message "The OS cannot gain access to the file C:\batabase.fdb. Please check that the file type and attributes are correct".

Please note that I have tried to install the Microsoft Dynamics Nav 5.0 Database Server on the Microsoft Server 2003 SP2 server and it is working properly.

Can anyone guide me please with the Navision SP1 installation?

    You must change the user for the db service. Change to "local system account" or another user with apropriate rights.

    I have given approprite user rights to the database and it is working.
