Problem with .bmp image format

Hello, I'm trying to change a .bmp image file in a form. I know that, in Attain 3.70, the image file can't be bigger than 32kb and it have to be in .bmp format. I make an image file of 10kb in bmp format and the same size that I already have in the form and put the route (c:\pic.bmp) on Bitmap value from the Image Properties, but it always shows me the message "This file "Device-Independent Bitmap" is no valid", and it doesn't me let go on. What's the problem?

I remember way back someone was having problems w/ bmp file.

Try opening it in ms PAINT and save it from there and see if it works.
if you were using a different program.

Are you using an IMAGE field or a picture box?

Thanks for reply. With Paint the result it's the same, it shows me the same advise; it's very strange. I use an image field. Any idea else?

is it just "THAT" picture? do you get the message with other pictures?

I assume this a test of some kind beacuse you have it on your C:\drive and not a network drive.

Thanks for reply; yes, I'm testing it from my C. The picture that you posted works fine; it means I suppose that there is any problem with the pics that I make, but I don't know what because the size is correct and algo the format. Well, I'll test it again.

Do not forget that there are more "BMP" formats in some editors... You need to use the simplest one...
