Expansion of NAV database still results in 100% usage

While opening Navision database there is an error asking you to expand the database. After expanding the database we log in again and the database size used shows 100%. Every time I expand and re login, the same error pops up and database size used shows 100%. Does someone have a solution for the same.

Have you stopped and restarted the Navsion service?

Have you any connection with other applications which write data directly to NAV DB?

This is a KNOWN bug in NAV, what version are you on?
