mutliple lines in prod order

Hi...
on a production order with multiple lines, where the later lines correspond to sub-assembly parts from BOM, is there a way to finish just some lines and not the whole production order? if possible I want to avoid using journals as well

I presume you mean the changing of the status to "finished" to push all the costings through the system? The answer is no as the status relates to the order. If you want to achieve this I would adopt the process where the sub assemblies are on a separate production order rather than a second line.The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0
