  Maybe your column Password isn't visible anymore?
  In form "Database Logins" right mouse click on the column-headers, Show Column, Password.

  Keep in mind it works different on SQL then on Native ...
  
  In Native: you assign the password of a databaseuser in NAV
  In SQL: you assign the password of a databaseuser in SQL
