I am making my first attempt at Style Sheets in 5.0, I have imported the .fob file StyleSheetToolW111 and imported the objects.....I am now following the USER's GUIDE Style Sheet Tool 1 0 for Dynamics NAV 5 0 v 2
When I click on the Send Options button I get an error that says 'The program to launch has not been defined in the Send-to Program table. I look at the data in the table and there is an entry for Word and one for Excel. What am I missing in the Send-to Program table?

obj designer, form 691, run
insert these lines
EXCEL.EXE EXCEL.EXE
WINWORD.EXE WINWORD.EXE
then run form 690, select stylesheets common to all forms, press functions, import and fill the fields:
Style sheet =(path to your NAV Installation folder)\NavisionFormToWord.xslt
Name= What you want
send to program = winword
do the same 4 excel (using navisionformtoexcel and excel.exe)0 -
thanks for the response, the tool that I imported into my database does not include forms 690 and 691. Do I have an outdated version of the tool?0

The Send-to Program Table has these two entries...
Program ID Executable Parameter Name
{00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} EXCEL.EXE %1 Microsoft Excel
{000209FF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} WINWORD.EXE %1 Microsoft Word
I am not sure why I dont have those two forms.....are they not part of the Style Sheet Tool?0 -
Belias,
Thanks for you help.....turns out the database I was using was a 4.0 database converted to run in 5.0. I imported the objects I need and your instructions worked great.....now my question is when you click on Send Options from say an item card for example, how do you tell the system to use a Style Sheet instead of sending the entire Item Card?0 -
I guess a better question would be how do I get the style sheet I just created to show up in the list when I click on Send Options?0

and the answer is go to the list and choose it, DUH!!!0
