AX 3.0 Purging

Hi Experts,

We have been using AX for almost 2 years now and the data is becoming bigger and bigger. Especially the transaction tables like inventtrans, custinvoicetrans,ledgertrans,etc..

Do you have a code that can purge data on transaction tables based on date and closed transaction? If you already have a code cay you please give it to me so that I can try.

    Hi Mike,

    The lack of Ax tools in this particular area has been my pet peeve for a long time. Regrettably there is no solution for this particular issue even in the next version (DAX 2009).

    Instead of manually trying to archive or purge, I would like to recommend the data archival solution from Ignify. For more info - http://www.ignify.com/DynamicsAXData.asp

    You can safely purge data like database log, user log etc.
