Variable ID's for Add-on

In general, Navision gives each variable an ID starting from 1000000000.
For an add-on that is very annoying.
I remember to have read (and even tested) that it is possible to define a function with a certain ID in codeunit 1 to have Navision generate the variable ID's starting from another number. The problem is: I don't remember the ID of the function in codeunit 1 nor where I read it.

Does someone remember this?

It is described i the documentation which is avalable for NAV 4.00SP2+ I think.

The function is

UIDOffset() : Integer

and the ID is 212122.
