Hi there!
I'm having problems printing reports from navision.
More than one time per day when someone prints a report form navision, it gives an error and the appliation restarts.
The error is below:
The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: finsql.exe; 4.0.2.22100; 43c63f02; finsql.exe; 4.0.2.22100; 43c63f02; 0; 001e8e66.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks

It might be an incompatible printer driver. Are you running on Vista?0

Hi!
The service is running in windows 2003 x64 and i've installed the printer drivers for 64bits donloaded from the printer supplier webpage.
I'm still having the problem after replacing the drivers...
I dont know why it works properly sometimes and sometimes dont.

That seems to be a common error condition that is reported in event viewer from a NAS instance. Is the process that is printing running via NAS?
If so the following applies:
1) I find these Error Source ID 1000 problems with NAS a little difficult to diagnose as they don't really provide any useful information. (If anyone from MS reads these...FIX THIS!)
2) one of the first things I always check with a process running under NAS is if any dialogs will be presented to the user...are there any conditions when the report runs that could prompt a user for information (i.e. message, confirm statements?)0 -
Hi to all,
Same problem here! Identical message but not when printing but when navigating in G/L records.
No NAS, Navision 4 SP2 installation with SQL Server 2005.
Total Dead End. ](*,)
Any ideas?Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life...0
