Evaluate Issue

Hai

I have two variables like below

1. code:='100' is a type CODE variable

2. amount:=1000 is decimal type


Now i want to add these two variables......I want result as 1100....

How to do this?

The result would be an decimal......

Please solve this problem.... ](*,)

    Something like this:

    if EVALUATE(ldecAmount, lcodAmount) then
    ldecDecAmount := ldecAmount + ldecOtherAmount;
