Default Style Sheet Table Reading Permission (Nav5)

Hi All,

An error is generated when trying to export to word or excel using the new feature in Nav5.

I'm not facing this problem if i'm using a username with a super role.

Error Message:

<<<You do not have permision to read the User Default Style Sheet table>>>

User roles are : All, Super (data) /<<for all companies>>


Any Idea?

    You need to contact your solution provider and get your license updated with Microsoft.

    Earlier versions of the upgraded license have problems. I'm not sure if they ever fixed it.

    There is an error in NAV 5.0, which means that permissions on the User Default Style Sheet table is not synchronized with the SQL Server.

    According to Microsoft the bug was fixed in Update 1, but when I tested it it still didn't work.

    This means that the only workaround is to set the Security Model to Standard instead of Enhanced.

    If you upgraded you will find that unless you have imported the new permissions that a lot of the new tables access.

    Have you tried adding permission to this table manually ?

    I did this and have never had an issue for this feature

    It was a clean install on a clean VPC. And yes did set the permissions manually. I even tried with the new hotfix kb94534.
