Navision with 130,000 parts catalogue and daily updating

Hi All,

Navision 3.70

We are in discussions with an organisation that intends to have Vendor pricing catalogues online.

Their requirement is to be able to look up pricing when using Navision to place Vendor PO's. (ie ensure their buy price is OK.)

The issues that arise are that the volume of parts in the catalogue could reach 130,000, and pricing could change daily.

Has anyone done something similiar? What lessons were learnt?

    My sugestions - Create your functionality and use Non stock items instead of items.
    Think about the history of prices. Do you need this (it will be in PO document line). Also you can save to standard table if it was used.
