Nav Upgrade from SP1 to SP2

Hi

We are working on a upgrade from NAV SP1 to SP2. The NAV SP2 version has English and FRC version.

Now in all forms do we need to change the caption ML property to reflect the caption in both in English and FRC version or is there any where global field available where if i give once, it reflects in all forms.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately there is no Global way in which we can change caption ML in one form and it reflects in all forms.

    So the other way is you export the object by going to Tools --> Translate --> Export. then change the caption ML in the translated object file. and after that Import that by going to Tools --> Translate --> Import.

    I think this can solve your problem. :)

    it is indeed recommended to make sure all languages are in all databases before starting with your upgrade... .

    one question though ... why on earth aren't you upgrading to SP3? :-k

    May be the steps and not the full ladder else the reason will be really intresting to know... :mrgreen:
