restrict Store Person Can't see the DD Settings in LS-Retail

Hi,
One of our client using LS-Retail with Data Director. In start menu-> Prgrams -> LS Retail Data Director -> Data Director Settings. If the store person will open that dd settings in start menu then they will see the super user password in connection string. By using that user id and password they will connect to the DB as a super user. I want restrict that facility.

Store persons can not open that dd settings in start menu. how can i do that? In dd settings password field is available. but i can not understood that field.

I also encountered this problem in my previous client implementation. What I do is to set only a user only for replication purposes. I just grant the permissions only for TableData and Table. Try it! and hope it will work also for you.

Thanks for ur replies. But Store persons cannot see the connection string.
now they will see the connection string data in the start menu -> programs-> DD settings. On that DD settings they will see the connection stiring. In navision application we will restrict store persons. but in Start menu how can i restrict???

When you install DD, you can install it a certiain folder, and the window user wouldn't not have permission to go and see the settings.

The would not be able to do
start menu -> programs-> DD settings. On that DD settings
