failed to import demo data into Dynamics Ax

Hi all,

I've encounter this problem. I failed to import the demo data into Dynamics Ax. Errors as below shows;

Import database.
Requirement route
Cannot create a record in Requirement route (ReqRoute). Plan: DMP-1, 02446_079.
The record already exists.

Noob in everything especially in Axapta.
Moving towards, start to understand about Axapta.
Live with Axapta and nothing else for my life atm..

    Hi

    It tells you that the adta has been imported at the bottom, it then tells you that other records have not been imported as the records already exist. I would guess the data is there from a testing perspective. I presume this was not a new dastabase you were restoring the data into?

    the database is new. i've tried several times and i can't understand what went wrongs.
    Noob in everything especially in Axapta.
    Moving towards, start to understand about Axapta.
    Live with Axapta and nothing else for my life atm..

    If you look in the restored company can you see if the lists of already created records exist? If they do what other issues is this causing for you?
