Remove inventory without a LOT No.

The client entered inventory, then turned on LOT tracking and received goods. Now we need to know how to get the inventory without lot numbers out of the system as we are prompted to select a tracking number each time. Please help! Thank you.

    without a programmer/consultant you need to zero the inventory. Rename the item and block. Create a new item and put inventory back in the system.


    With a programmer/consultant, make sure reservation entry/ tracking table are empty for that item.
    if you are using warehouse mgt. Make sure warehouse reservation/ tracking are empty. no picks created. no warehouse journal lines for the item are created.
    write a report to blank lot in item ledger entry and warehouse entry and item tracking code on item card.
